Jules Bianchi once again topped the test times for the young driver test at Magny-Cours on the second day.
The Frenchman topped day one’s times in the Ferrari, but continued his strong form when he switched to Force India to post a 1:16.467, some 1.5 seconds quicker than yesterday’s fastest lap.
Sam Bird continued to evaluate Mercedes new upgrades which include a coanda-effect exhaust and DDRS similar to Lotus’s. He finished second just over a second slower.
Davide Rigon was slowest in the Ferrari and circulated the French circuit 163 times.
