Romain Grosjean says he’s unsure as to who was to blame for the turn one accident during the Belgian Grand Prix.
The Lotus driver looked to have moved over on Lewis Hamilton causing the McLaren driver to lose control which resulted in a chain reaction leaving them, Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez all out of the race.
“[I had] a very good start and then boom – it was the end of the race,” said Grosjean. “I haven’t seen the images and I need to see them to have any point of view.
“But the main thing is that everybody is OK. That is the most important for me.”
Hamilton looked to place blame on Grosjean after he approached the Swiss-born driver immediately after the crash, but in the post-race interviews he refused to discuss the clash.
“I don’t want to talk about the start crash,” he said. “Just congratulations to Jenson, he did a fantastic race. It looked like a walk in the park for him.”
