Organisers of the Belgian Grand Prix have promised to help almost 6,000 fans who ordered tickets through the now defunct ticket company, ‘The Ticket Enterprise’.
The Dutch company ran into financial troubles which meant those who had ordered tickets for the Belgian GP faced being out of pocket as the company folded and failed to deliver the tickets.
However, the organisers of next weekend’s event will ensure all those affected will receive their tickets in time for the race.
“Although not liable for any shortcomings of The Ticket Enterprise, with whom you have chosen to order your tickets for the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix of August 31 and September 1 and 2, SPA GP has decided to resolve the problems encountered by purchasers wronged by this Dutch company and provide you with the tickets you had ordered,” read an email.
