Mid-season team-mate stats: Who’s ahead?

The German Grand Prix marked the midway point in this thrilling Formula 1 season. Ten races have passed and ten are yet to be decided – the outcome of which is anyones guess.

With such a closely fought season, the best way to gauge success is to compare team-mates, afterall they’re driving identical machinery.

Below, we’ve compiled five statistics for each driver duo, with the better results highlighted in bold. We’re comparing them on points, qualifying results, race results, amount of wins and podiums (not including wins) to see who’s ahead of who.

Of course it doesn’t give a definitive answer, as some drivers have suffered unfortunate accidents caused by others, whilst others haven’t had reliability on their side, but it gives a good overview of how each drivers season is going compared to their counterpart.
