Jean-Eric Vergne will not take up his 18th place grid position for the Chinese Grand Prix, and will instead start from the pitlane.
The Frenchman had a disappointing Saturday which prompted the team to make changes to his car in order to find some performance for the race.
The team have changed his floor, barge boards, sidepod wings, T-tray, sidepod inlet and ballast.
