HRT have confirmed that they are unable to attend the final pre-season test in Barcelona after plans to attend on Sunday, the final day, fell through.
The Spanish outfit has been pushed for time after passing all 18 mandatory crash tests just a week ago. It’s been a race against time to prepare a new chassis for the final test.
The team is however hoping to debut its F112 on track prior to Melbourne this Monday, though this isn’t guaranteed. The outfit has a filming day booked which will allow them to test the cars reliability on Pirelli’s demo tyres.
Since the teams inception three years ago, it has on all occasions failed to attend the pre-season tests with its new car.
