Pirelli have confirmed the tyre compounds it will take to the first three race of the 2012 season; Australia, Malaysia and China.

The season opener in Melbourne will see the soft and hard compounds in use, as will the third race in China.

The Malaysian GP will feature the new medium and hard compounds.

Each team will receive eleven sets in total, five of the softer compound and six of the harder.
