Vettel gets his record 15th pole position

Sebastian Vettel took his 15th pole position of the 2011 season, beating Nigel Mansell’s 1992 record of 14, to bring his F1 career tally total to 30.

The Red Bull driver was the only man to dip into the 1:11’s. His teammate Mark Webber, will start alongside the German with a time almost two tenths slower.

The McLarens, led by Jenson Button, will start third and fourth, ahead of Fernando Alonso, Nico Rosberg, Felipe Massa and Adrian Sutil.

Home favourite, Bruno Senna, starts ninth ahead of his uncles long term rival, Michael Schumacher.
