Pastor Maldonado and Jaime Alguersuari have both been handed penalties for ignoring blue flags during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The penalties, both of which were time added penalties, don’t change their finishing positions and are in effect pointless.
Maldonado, who had been given a drive-through for the same offence earlier in the race, had 30 seconds added to his time but remains 14th.
Alguersuari, who held up Felipe Massa and Mark Webber had 20 seconds added to his, but like Maldonado, maintains his position of 15th.
