The Sauber outfit will conduct a straight-line test on Saturday 3rd September in order to gain aerodynamic data on the C30 in the hope of maintaining and improving upon its current pace.
Mexican driver, Esteban Gutièrrez, will again be at the wheel after conducting a similar test earlier in the year.
The test will take place at the Vairano circuit in Italy.
“I’m very grateful to be able to do this kind of test for the team,” said the 20-year-old currently competing in GP2.
“Although it is not a regular test with many laps and normal set-up work it will give me some new experience of further work with the team and I will be able to learn a bit more for my future.”
