Vitantonio Liuzzi has been handed a five-place grid drop for the race after the team opted to change his gearbox for the German GP.
The Hispania driver was classified for the British GP therefore his gearbox, which hasn’t yet completed the mandatory five races, was meant to be used during the German weekend.
However, the team have opted to change it for a yet unknown reason.
The grid penalty will likely see the Italian start from last place after failing to qualify any higher than 21st position this seaosn.
