Ferrari took their first victory of the 2011 season which will surely come as a relief to Ferrari and Fernando Alonso fans who have waited patiently since Korea 2010 – their last win in F1.
It came during a thrilling British GP which saw Mark Webber drop from pole position to third, finally finishing behind Sebastian Vettel, who is still yet to finish outside the top two this season.
Lewis Hamilton drove his McLaren from tenth to fourth, but only narrowly succeeded after a fierce battle with Felipe Massa which lasted until the finish line.
