Ken Block, rally driver with the Monster World Rally Team, will get the opportunity to test the Toyota TF110 in Monza in August.
Block has teamed up with the Formula 1 tyre supplier to test the 2010-spec car which is used by Pirelli to develop their F1 tyres for the season.
The American is best known for his online Gymkhana videos and his involvement in the Dirt3 video game.
“I never imagined that something like this would even be available,” he told Autosport.
“But Pirelli saw the idea of doing something unique and different with me. They have been a great partner with me for everything I have been doing, so it is just something that for me is a dream come true.
“I have so little experience in open wheel asphalt, so it will be a huge learning experience for me.”
To prepare for the event, which will take place on the last day of Pirelli’s three-day test starting on August 2nd, Block will take to the Toyota simulator in Cologne to learn the track .
He also hinted at a new Gymkhana video which could include F1, but he’s yet to convince Pirelli.
