The 2011 Monaco Grand Prix was, without a shadow of a doubt, another classic race, of which we have been spolied with this season.
The races seem to be getting better and better, despite one man dominating all but one.
Sebastian Vettel sealed his fifth victory of the season, but it looked as though Jenson Button had it in the bag at one point. It wasn’t to be as two safety car periods, a red flag and pitstop errors galore left him third, behind Fernando Alonso.
Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable race with an unpredictable outcome, which wasn’t decided until the very end as a mere two seconds covered the top three. it’s just a shame we were robbed of an exciting finish.
(5 = perfect, 1 = boring)
