Sebastian Vettel stormed to his third victory of the 2011 season, taking victory in Turkey ahead of his team-mate to secure the first 1-2 this year.
Mark Webber finished just nine seconds behind, but didn’t have an answer for the young German.
A better showing for Ferrari with Fernando Alonso taking the teams maiden podium finish in 2011. The Spaniard was just 1.2 seconds behind Webber, but looked good for second until the closing laps.
Lewis Hamilton headed Nico Rosberg in fourth and fifth with Jenson Button and Nick Heidfeld just behind.
Vitaly Petrov, Sebastien Buemi and Kamui Kobayashi, who started 23rd, took the final points paying positions.
Timo Glock failed to start the race due to a gearbox issue.
