The Sauber F1 team has added yet another sponsor to its car for the 2011 season. The logo’s of NEC Mexico will visible be on the monocoque from the first race of the season onwards.

This is the team’s fourth Mexican sponsor, partially thanks to the signing of Mexican driver, Sergio Perez.

Team principal Peter Sauber: “NEC Mexico is a subsidiary of NEC Corporation, a global leader in technology. The internationalism of NEC, its high technical standards and striving for innovation perfectly match the values of Formula One. We look forward to an intensive collaboration.”

Enrique Leiva, CEO of NEC Mexico, explains: “It was an innovative project that led us into motor sport. Formula One is an international platform with cutting-edge technology, power, dynamism and, not least, speed. These are attributes that are very consistent with our approach to the market. We are very happy to join other top-class sponsors in offering the nations of Japan and Mexico a global presence in the top echelon of motor sport. We hope to see some good results and look forward to an exciting season.”
