It was Sergio Perez’s day in Barcelona after the Sauber driver jumped to the top of the timesheets on day three.
He was closely followed by Ferrari’s Felipe Massa and Red Bull’s Mark Webber, both of which kept to within a second of the 1:21.761 lap set by Perez.
Rubens Barrichello slotted into fourth, though reliability issues saw the Brazilian stop on track twice, though he managed to complete a healthy 105 laps.
