Davide Rigon got his opportunity to drive the newly-rechristened Ferrari 150º Italia on Sunday as he conducted straight-line aerodynamic testing in Vairano.
The Italian had been set to drive the 2010 car, the F60, but poor weather conditions led to that being cancelled last Monday.
This led to the opportunity to make his F1 debut in a current car where he worked with the team to develop his own skills and the 2011 challenger.
The Ferrari 150º Italia will now be taken to the Catalunya Circuit in Barcelona for some promotional filming, then for the final pre-season test scheduled for later this week.
Felipe Massa will drive during day one and two, whilst Fernando Alonso will takeover for the 11th and 12th.
