Bernie Ecclestone isn’t a man to shy away from a business opportunity.
The 80-year-old will star in the latest adverts for Formula One’s official timepiece, sporting his injuries sustained from a recent mugging in London in which his own watch was stolen along with other items, thought to total £200,000.
The print adverts will run in a couple of newspapers and feature the F1 mogul showing off his black-eye and swollen cheek with the strapline: ‘Look what people will do for a Hublot’, according to reports in 7sur7.be.
A statement from the watchmaker confirmed the image used isn’t fake and the strapline was actually said by Ecclestone after the incident.
