Red Bull dominated the 2010 season and, thanks to Daniel Ricciardo, they remained atop the times in the Abu Dhabi young driver tests.

The Australian finished ahead of McLaren’s Oliver Turvey by over a second as he set a quickest time of 1:39.616.

Antonio Felix da Costa came in third for Force India, impressing at his first ever F1 test. Paul di Resta also drove for the Force India team during day one, but could only manage the eighth quickest time.

The youngest driver, Rio Haryanto, just 17, set the slowest time of the day as he got to grips with the Virgin during his first F1 experience.
