Reigning world champion Jenson Button believes Sebastian Vettel has the edge over Mark Webber, despite the Australian having a 14 point lead.
The Britton believes Vettel has the advantage in both qualifying and the race after a dominant performance in Japan at the weekend.
“Vettel has to beat Mark twice more to be on the same points,” said the McLaren driver.
“Going into the last race with equal points I would say Vettel has the legs in qualifying and over three races would have the advantage over Mark.”
Button currently holds fifth behind his team-mate and suspects the pressure won’t be on Sebastian if he can maintain the current performance gap between McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull.
“If those two cars have the advantage over everyone else, there won’t be pressure on Vettel and he will do it.”
