Alguersuari loses single point after penalty

Jaime Alguersuari will lose his points paying position after the FIA chose to add 20 seconds to his time for cutting the bus-stop chicane.

On lap 42 of 44, the Spaniard cut across the corner gaining an unfair advantage. With the move investigated after the race, the FIA had no choice but to add 20 seconds, dropping him from 10th to 13th, rather than giving him a drive-through, which would have been the usual penalty had it happened earlier in the race.

Vitantonio Liuzzi moves from 11th to 10th, taking the final point.
