Bruno Senna may have lost his seat at Hispania for the British round of the championship because of an email sent to his boss, Colin Kolles, by accident.
With a decent explanation as to why the Brazilian was dropped for a single race yet to become clear, it has led to the Auto Bild Motorsport publication speculating that an email meant for someone else, was sent to the very person it was criticising, team principal, Kolles.
The publication believes the email criticises the Romanian-born-German’s management style, and therefore the loss of his seat for a single GP, could be a form of disciplinary action.
Whatever the reason, it led to Sakon Yamamoto debuting for the Spanish team after a three year absence from Formula One. He managed to secure 20th place behind his team-mate, Karun Chandhok.
