After first writing off a reconcilliation with the Grand Prix Drivers Association, it has been confirmed today that Michael Schumacher has indeed rejoined the drivers “union.”
After 11 years at the helm of the GPDA, Schumacher’s spokeswoman, and recently appointed manager, Sebine Kehm announced last month that the 42-year old felt it was only right that, “the others, who have taken over in the meantime, [should] continue.”
At the start of the 2010 season, Mercedes reserve driver, Nick Heidfeld, was appointed as chairman with Massa and Vettel being appointed as directors.
With Kehm confirming Schumacher’s membership on Tuesday, the only driver in the paddock not to be a member is Force India’s Adrian Sutil.
