It’s all over. The next time we’ll see Formula 1 cars on track will be at the first race of the season in Australia in just two weeks time.

The final day of the third and final test was topped by Williams’ Valtteri Bottas. The Finnish driver used the supersoft tyre to post a 1:23.063 during the morning session.

He was closely followed by Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. The German was four tenths behind, whilst Sauber rookie Felipe Nasr was third, a further five tenths back.

Max Verstappen completed 85 laps after his running was cut short thanks to an engine issue. Though he was able to return to track later in the day.

Daniel Ricciardo was another to stop on track as his Red Bull RB11 ground to a halt at the end of the pit lane. He was eventually fifth fastest come the end.

He was followed up by Sergio Perez – who got his first taste of the new VJM08 – whilst Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg was seventh ahead of McLaren’s Jenson Button and Lotus’ Pastor Maldonado.
