Cadillac have announced their 2023 endurance drivers. Scott Dixon and Jack Aitken will compete for the American manufacture at the Michelin endurance cup races this season.

The six time IndyCar champion has been a fixture at the Cadillac team for years, filling in for third driver stints at endurance races since 2014. Dixon has helped the team to three 24 hours of Daytona victories and one Petit Le Mans win.

“The Rolex 24 At Daytona is the most significant race of the IMSA schedule that happens to also be the first race of the year,” Chip Ganassi Racing Director of Operations Mike O’Gara said. “Scott brings a level of stability since he’s been with us for 20-plus years. He’s the steady guy who provides a good perspective to hop in the race car and give us a fresh, reliable outlook. He’s not an extra driver to get us through the 24-hour race. He’s adding to the program even though he’s only driving the car a few times a year.”

Jack Aitken was once a regular of the Formula One paddock. Serving as reserve driver for multiple teams and even getting the call-up to drive the Williams machine around the Bahrain outer circuit for the Sakhir Grand Prix in 2020, where he finished sixteenth after a late race crash.

Aitken has since raced in a handful of sportscar series around the world spending time in the European Le Mans series as well as the GT World Challenge Europe. He spent his time racing Lamborghini GT3 machinery for Emil Frey Racing.

Both drivers will participate in the upcoming IMSA sanctioned test at Daytona. Dixon will run alongside Renger van Der Zande and Sebastien Bourdais. Aitken will share the seat of the Cadillac LMDh machine with Pipo Derani and Alexander Sims.
