Sebastian Vettel and his long-term girlfriend, Hanna Prater, became parents on Sunday.
Prater reportedly gave birth to a baby girl at the weekend at a Swiss hospital near their home. They have yet to confirm a name.
The couple only recently confirmed they were expecting a child.
Vettel is expected to begin testing duties in just over a week’s time at Jerez, giving him a few days at home with his daughter.
