A true fan of motorsports needs no introduction to Formula 1 and the specifics of the 2021 season. The season in Formula 1 is coming to an end and motorsport fans across the globe are anxious to find out who the next world champion will be. If you are a fan of Formula 1 and motorsports in general then you might want to try out our latest offer and register for it.

Formula 1 in recent years

It is no secret that the last few years in Formula 1 have been absolutely dominated by one man only. It is no other than Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton. The British driver has won the World Championship seven times – and ties another Formula 1 legend for this record, Michael Schumacher. Lewis Hamilton repeatedly said that he wants to beat that record and be the sole holder of the most world championship trophies.

Furthermore, he has his eyes on another of Michael’s records – most consecutive titles won – 5. A win in the 2021 Championship could bring both records to his name and this is exactly what Lewis will go for this year. He could’ve beaten both records in the 2016 season but an outstanding driving by Nico Rosberg denied Hamilton this record.

The 2021 season so far…

The 2021 season is a story of one between two equal rivals – Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. The born in Belgium but competing under the Netherlands flag driver has been outstanding this entire season and is rightfully in first place with just two more races to go.

The 2021 standings have Verstappen ranked first with nine wins and 16 podiums earning him a total of 351.5 points. Meanwhile, Max’s main competitor, Hamilton, is currently ranked 2nd with seven wins and 15 podiums earning him 343.5 points. A fragile lead indeed but one that will truly put Hamilton’s driving capabilities to the limit.

Who will be victorious?

We have yet to receive our answer. The ex-Formula 1 racer Felipe Massa believes that Verstappen has been working out enough to cut out his “stupid mistakes” from his driving and now has what it takes to become a world champion. Something that is definitely in the plans of the 24-year-old driver. He said a few months ago that becoming a Formula 1 champion is a childhood dream of his.

For this to come true he will have to perform. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix could be the one that makes him champion but it could also be the one that snubs his dream away from him if he is not careful enough.

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is scheduled for the 5th of December and will be the one-but-last chance of both Verstappen and Hamilton for title glory. The Jeddah Cornice circuit seems to suit the style of Hamilton’s Mercedes W12, but we would have to wait a few more days to get more answers to our questions and to see who will get the most points before the Abu Dhabi GP on the 12th of December.
