Red Bull have confirmed that James Allison will not be joining their technical team next season, despite persistant rumours to the contrary.
The former-Lotus technical director has been linked to several outfits including Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren and most recently the triple world champions.
Some believe Adrian Newey is looking to retire from Formula 1 at the end of next season, and they believe Allison would be the perfect replacement, but Red Bull denied the news on their Twitter feed.
“There are a few rumours circulating today, but we can confirm that James Allison is not joining Infiniti Red Bull Racing,” they stated.
