A full course yellow for debris on track has shook up the running order in various classes during the Six Hours of Bahrain.

The caution was caused when debris from the #777 Aston Martin Vantage AMR left pieces on the main straight, which the #54 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo then ran over.

During the pitstops that followed, the #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid of Jose Maria Lopez captured the lead from the sister car, now driven by Kazuki Nakajima. The two Toyotas swapped the lead back and forth multiple times early on. Andre Negrao sits in third in the #36 Alpine A480-Gibson.

Team WRT used the caution stops to vault up to the lead in LMP2 after a fuel-only pitstop, promoting the #31 Team WRT ORECA 07-Gibson to the lead in class with Robin Frijns now behind the wheel.

Marcos Gomes leads GTE Am, moving the #98 Aston Martin Vantage AMR ahead of the #83 AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evo of Francois Perrodo shortly after the restart.

Dylan Pereira holds third in the #33 TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage AMR, with the top five rounded out by the #777 D’Station Racing Aston Martin of Tomonobu Fujii and the #54 AF Corse Ferrari driven by Francesco Castellacci.
