The #4 Corvette C8.R, with Tommy Milner at the wheel, was fastest in a heavily rain-affected second practice at Lime Rock Park for the IMSA WeatherTech Championship North East Grand Prix. Team car #4 Corvette C8.R, driven by Jordan Taylor, was 0.329 seconds off, as the two switched around from the order in first practice.

The only GTLM car, Cooper MacNeil’s #79 WeatherTech Racing Porsche 911 RSR, was 1.717 seconds off the pace, 3 tenths slower than the fastest GTD.

The session was stopped for 45 minutes amid heavy rain and lightning in the area, with the rain soaking the circuit.

In GTD, Zach Robichon was quickest in the #9 Pfaff Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R, with #14 Vasser Sullivan’s Lexus RC F GT3’s Aaron Tellitz second and Trent Hindman, in the #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R third.
