Meyer Shank Racing fastest in Glen 6 Hours Practice 2

#60: Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb-Agajanian Acura DPi, DPi: Olivier Pla, Dane Cameron

#60 Meyer-Shank Racing Acura ARX-05, with Dane Cameron at the wheel, led the way in Free Practice 2 for the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen, with a 1:30.451.

This was over two tenths faster than Ricky Taylor in the other Acura, #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05. Third in DPi was Pipo Derani for #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-V.R.

In LMP2, Scott Huffaker led the way in the #52 PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson. #18 Era Motorsport ORECA 07-Gibson’s Ryan Dalziel placed second, almost a second behind Huffaker, with Gabriel Aubry for #8 Tower Motorsport ORECA 07-Gibson rounding out the top three in the second prototype class.

Felipe Fraga, in #74 Riley Motorsports Ligier JS P320 VK, was fastest in LMP3. Former IndyCar driver Oliver Askew took second for #36 Andretti Autosport Ligier JS P320 VK, over three quarters of a second behind Fraga. Third in class was Austin McCusker, behind the wheel of #2 Unite Autosports USA Ligier JS P320 VK.

Over in GTLM, Bruno Spengler led the way for #25 BMW Team RLL in the M8 GTE. Antonio Garcia was only a tenth and a bit behind in the #3 Corvette C8.R, while John Edwards was third in the sister #24 BMW Team RLL M8 GTE.

Finally, in GTD, Jack Hawksworth went fastest for #14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3. Robby Foley was over 7 tenths back in the #96 Turner Motorsports BMW M6 GT3, while Trent Hindman was third for #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.
