Team Project 1 and ARC Bratislava have both named drivers for their respective line-ups for the upcoming FIA World Endurance Championship campaign.

The 2018-19 GTE Am champions have announced that Riccardo Pera will join the pair of Matteo Cairoli and Egidio Perfetti for the full campaign in the #56 Porsche 911 RSR-19 as the German team attempts to retake the GTE Am title from AF Corse.

Pera will contest his second full season in the WEC after racing with Dempsey-Proton Racing last season alongside Christian Ried and Matt Campbell. Dempsey-Proton have opted to sign Jaxon Evans to complete its #77 line-up for this season, resulting in Pera’s move to Team Project 1.

Perfetti, one of the drivers that captured the title during the Super Season, will team up with Porsche junior Cairoli for the second consecutive season.

He has been the only driver to race for the team since it joined the championship, as Cairoli also raced for Dempsey-Proton in his first two seasons in the WEC.

Team Project 1 is yet to name the line-up for its second car, as Dennis Olsen is currently the only listed driver for the #46 Porsche 911 RSR-19.

Webb joins ARC Bratislava

Meanwhile, Slovakian squad ARC Bratislava have also named their line-up for the opening round at Spa-Francorchamps as it makes its full-season WEC debut.

Team owner Miroslav Konopka will drive the #44 Ligier JS P217-Gibson for the full season alongside former ByKolles LMP1 driver Oliver James Webb.

Webb, however, will not be able to attend the six-hour enduro in Belgium, as the the Brit has clashing commitments elsewhere.

His place in the first round of the season will by taken up by Darren Burke. Burke raced for the team in the 2018/19 Asian Le Mans Series, taking a podium at Fuji. He was also part of the team’s race-winning 2017 LMP3 campaign.

The line-up for the team at Spa will be completed by 24-year-old British driver Tom Jackson.

The opening round of the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship takes place on May 1.
