Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button will sit out the in-season test in Mugello in May, with McLaren opting to run its test drivers, Gary Paffett and Oliver Turvey instead.
The test takes place a week before the Spanish Grand Prix on May 1st – 3rd at the Ferrari owned Mugello circuit in Italy.
Paffett and Turvey haven’t driven in an official test session since the young driver test at Abu Dhabi in 2011, but Turvey recently completed a straight-line test earlier this year.
