Red Bull took delivery of a heavily revised car for the final two days of testing in Barcelona on Saturday in readiness for the start of the season.
The completely new car, flown in from Milton Keynes, features a brand new exhaust layout, new barge boards and wings.
The focus of much attention surrounded the exhaust positioning which has moved significantly further forward. Rather than blowing the suspension arms, the team have opted to use the downwash to channel the exhaust gases toward the floor and diffuser.
The exhausts are most similar to that of Sauber and McLaren.
As seen in the images below, the first showing the RB8’s previous exhaust position much closer to the rear of the car. The second shows the most recent configuration.
