High Class Racing has confirmed that it will be returning to the FIA World Endurance Championship for the 2021 season, with Jan Magnussen leading an all-Danish driver line-up.

The Danish outfit graduated to the WEC for the 2019/20 Super Season and campaigned a single ORECA 07-Gibson for every round except the Bahrain season finale, with Kenta Yamashita, Anders Fjordbach and Mark Patterson carrying out driver duties.

For 2021, Fjordbach has been retained to partner longtime Corvette driver Magnussen and Dennis Andersen aboard the #20 ORECA 07-Gibson, which will be running on Goodyear tyres and with a new white, red and black colour scheme.

Both Magnussen and Andersen will be making their full-season WEC debuts. Magnussen most recently joined JMW Motorsport at Le Mans and raced for Corvette in the six-hour WEC round at Circuit of the Americas this past February, but has not yet completed a full season of the WEC.

Prior to that, the Danish veteran tested High Class Racing’s LMP2 car at Bahrain in December 2019 and was set to compete with the team at Le Mans before the entry fell through.

Andersen, meanwhile, is Fjordbach’s regular partner in the European Le Mans Series. The team has not yet confirmed if it will continue its ELMS effort alongside the WEC campaign.

In addition to its WEC effort, the team also recently confirmed its entry into the 2021 Rolex 24 at Daytona.
