Leading Toyota closing in on world title halfway through Bahrain 8H

Jose Maria Lopez, Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi continue to lead the 8 Hours of Bahrain, where a victory would be enough to win the world championship.

The #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid has led the race from the start and currently holds the lead over the #8 sister car.

In LMP2, Jackie Chan DC Racing continues to lead after taking the lead from United Autosports following a spin from Phil Hanson in the previous hour of the race.

Hanson has since handed over the #22 ORECA 07-Gibson to Filipe Albuquerque, who holds second place ahead of Antonio Felix da Costa in the #38 JOTA ORECA 07-Gibson.
