Juan Pablo Montoya leads Motul Petit Le Mans after two hours, but the Acura Team Penske driver is being hunted down by Whelen Engineering’s Pipo Derani.

Dane Cameron started the #6 Acura ARX-05 and handed the car over to Montoya after a strong opening stint, after which the Colombian retained the lead after two hours.

Behind him, an exciting battle has developed in DPi. The #7 Acura ARX-05, which ran second after the start, has fallen away and lost podium position to the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-VR of Pipo Derani and the #77 Mazda RT24-P of Oliver Jarvis.

Jarvis has initially taken second place from Derani early in the second hour, but Derani retook second during the third round of pitstops. Derani has since taken off in pursuit of the leading Montoya, while Jarvis sits in third with the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac fourth in the hands of Scott Dixon.

The race was briefly under safety car for an early crash caused by the #85 JDC-Miller Motorsports Cadillac of Gabriel Aubry.

Scott Huffaker leads LMP2 in the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson after a strong opening stint from Patrick Kelly has put the other LMP2 runners one lap down.

Corvette leads GTLM one-two but under serious pressure from BMW. Antonio Garcia started from pole in the #3 Corvette C8.R, briefly dropped back but made his way back up in the opening hour. He initially found himself under pressure from the #912 Porsche 911 RSR-19 of Laurens Vanthoor, but the Belgian was surpassed by the #4 Corvette C8.R of Tommy Milner during the third round of stops.

Vanthoor was then surpassed by the #24 BMW M8 GTE of Jesse Krohn, which has now opened the offence on the leading Corvettes.

Bryan Sellers leads GTD in the #48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo for Paul Miller Racing. The team is running somewhat off strategy with focus on the Michelin Endurance Cup, but has led since the first hour.

Matt McMurry sits second in the #86 Meyer Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo, with Cooper Macneil third in the #63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo.
