Nico Rosberg has been fined €10,000 (£8,745) for not visiting the stewards in a timely manner, following his collision with Jaime Alguersuari during FP2.
The fine, half of which is suspended and only payable if a similar breach is committed within the next 12 months, comes under Article B of the 2011 FIA International Sporting Code.
It reads: “All FIA Licence-Holders and all Participants in International Events undertake to cooperate fully and entirely with any disciplinary investigation conducted by the FIA.”
Rosberg attended his post-practice media interviews before visiting the stewards, rather than the other way round.
