Lady Gaga will perform during the closing ceremony for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix to be held in late-October, it has been revealed.
The international popstar joins a host of performers which include Metallica who will play on the Friday as part of the Indian F1 Rocks concert.
Gaga, 25, will perform for 30-minutes at the Jaypee Greens Golf and Spa Resort after the race has finished – it will be her first visit to the country.
The concert will be co-hosted by Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and restaurateur AD Singh, who said: “It can’t get bigger than this. Lady Gaga is undoubtedly the number one artist in the world, and the thought of having her perform at the Formula One after-party is so exciting. I am sure it will create history, and we should be happy to be part of this history,” he told the Hindustan Times.
