The Singapore Grand Prix weekend is expected to be a dry one, according to the latest weather forecasts, despite some concerns it may suffer from heavy rain.
Earlier reports showed a band of cloud hovering around the country which could have been a threat over all three days of action, but the latest forecasts suggest much of the rain, if any, will fall during the day, rather than at night when the race takes place.
This will come as welcome news to the drivers as much has been said in the past, in regards to safety, about the possible combination of racing at night in wet conditions.
Friday shows very little chance of rain at all before, during or after the two practice sessions, with temperatures expected to hit 27ºC.
Saturday is much the same story, though temperatures could rise to 30ºC, even after sunset, with high humidity at around 78% making the air temperature feel much hotter.
Sunday meanwhile shows the most signs that rain could fall during the day, though predictions put the likliness at just 25%, falling to 15% during the actual race. Temperatures will match those on Friday with extra cloud coverage reducing the temperature.
