Pirelli has warned all 12 teams on the grid about pushing the camber limits they run on the rear and particularly the front tyres after the problems experienced at Spa.
The Italian tyre supplier has recommended a limit of 3.75 degrees in order to avoid excessive wear on the inner shoulder.
This compares to 4.0 degrees for the Belgian GP just over a week ago, though several teams, primarily Red Bull, pushed that to 4.3 to aid grip in the corners.
That resulted in severe blistering after just a handful of laps and led to the outfit approaching the FIA prior to the race to request an exception to the regulations, in order to allow them to change their tyres between qualifying and the start.
The FIA agreed on grounds of safety before withdrawing its offer.
Red Bull chief designer Adrian Newey, recently admitted the team almost chose to start from the pitlane, but instead opted to run just a handful of laps on the damaged tyres.
