Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers have been stripped of their third place finish in the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR due to a post-race technical infraction.
The #48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo took the final podium spot upon its return to IMSA competition for the first time since January, with Sellers holding on to third in a tight battle in the closing stages of the race.
It has since been moved to the back of the class after a fuel capacity issue was discovered in post-race scrutineering. The team was therefore stripped of its podium finish.
This has promoted the #74 Riley Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Gar Robinson and Lawson Aschenbach to the third and final podium position.
The pairing completes the podium behind the #96 Turner Motorsports BMW M6 GT3 of Robby Foley and Bill Auberlen and the #86 Meyer Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo of Matt McMurry and Mario Farnbacher.
