The FIA has announced that they will stick with the single-DRS zone for the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend.
The nature of the Hungaroring track doesn’t lend itself well to a double zone because of the lack of long straights. Therefore, the activation zone will be along the main start/finish straight, ending at the braking zone for turn one.
The activation zone will begin 70 metres after the apex of turn 14, the final corner of the circuit, with the detection zone just before the same corner.
The track isn’t known for overtaking, with turn one having seen the most moves in recent years.
