Sebastian Vettel topped the final practice session prior to qualifying, beating his team-mate, Mark Webber, bu just eight hundredths.
The two Red Bull cars have dominated the race weekend so far, with Vettel setting the quickest lap at the very end of the session after spending the majority of his time sat in the garage.
Webber had led up until the Germans lap.
Michael Schumacher popped into third, beating both McLaren’s and his team-mate by three tenths.
The session saw only one drama which involed Nick Heidfeld. His R31 suddenly caught fire, which quickly spread throughout the car leading to the German exiting the cockpit in a very quick manner.
He’s unlikely to make the start of qualifying, unless the team can conduct some quick repairs to his car, or build a new on from scratch.
