We at The F1 Times are always looking for improved ways to deliver content, which is why we actively welcome feedback from our readers through our contact form, Twitter and Facebook page.
Our latest feature, in reply to requests from you, the readers, will be a new live text commentary feature for qualifying and race sessions.
The technology will be rolled out this coming weekend for the Turkish Grand Prix.
It can be accessed through our website (a link will appear on the homepage before the event is scheduled to begin), you can also follow the updates via Twitter by following our new account @F1TimesLive (see more below) and through any mobile device with internet connectivity.
The commentary will keep you updated with everything that’s happening on track, useful for when you’re away from the TV or travelling.
It will update automatically whenever a new update is available, saving you time and, if you’re on a mobile device, battery and internet charges.
@F1TimesLive: We have decided to set-up a new Twitter account for live updates. Why? Well, we know some people don’t enjoy seeing their feed filled with tweet after tweet after tweet.
If you don’t want to see live updates in your feed, simply follow @F1Times for all the latest news, rumour, gossip and chat, but if you do want live commentary, we suggest you follow both (@F1Times and @F1TimesLive).
Website: Live text commentary will also be available through our website for those who don’t have Twitter.
Mobile: We have made sure our live updates will work seamlessly with most mobile devices (inc iPhone OS, BlackBerry, Android, Symbian and WP7).
To access the mobile version, simply point your browser at http://www.thef1times.com/mobile/live.php for the latest live session.
Alternatively, if you’re using our iPhone ‘web app’ then you will find a ‘Live’ option in the tab-bar.
(If you’re using an iPhone, but don’t have our ‘web app’, please visit http://www.thef1times.com/m and select add to home screen in the options menu to access all features).
If you have further suggestions to improve our service, please do contact us.
