Kamui Kobayashi has set the fastest time for Wayne Taylor Racing in the fourth and final practice session ahead of the Rolex 24 at Daytona tomorrow.

The Japanese WEC regular set a time of 01:35:340 in the #10 Cadillac DPi-VR to outpace Acura Team Penske’s Helio Castroneves by 0.393s. The #7 Acura ARX-05 was still three-tenths clear of third-placed Sebastien Bourdais in the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-VR.

Mike Conway was fourth in the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac, ahead of the #85 JDC-Miller Cadillac of Chris Miller and both Mazdas, while Dane Cameron brought up the rear in the #6 Acura.

The session was shortened after Don Yount crashed heavily in the #38 Performance Tech Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson with 15 minutes remaining in the session, ending up in the tyre barrier on the inside of turn 6. Yount climbed out under his own power, after which race control decided not to restart the session.
