WorldSBK has unveiled its provisional calendar for the upcoming 2027 season, which is set to run from 19-21 February to 29-31 October.
The calendar sees the number of rounds remain at 12, but sees the expansion to three continents and nine different countries.
The season is set to begin at Phillip Island on 19-21 February, marking WorldSBK’s last appearance at Phillip Island before its Australian Round moves to Adelaide’s The Bend in 2028.
Portimao will start the European stretch of the season before the championship heads to Valencia, a new addition for the 2027 season.
After Valencia, the championship will head to Assen in April and Aragon in May, before two races in June at Most and Misano and Donington Park with the final round before the summer break on 9-11 July.
The summer break will run for almost two months before WorldSBK returns at Magny-Cours on 3-5 September, with Cremona later that month as the 10th round of the campain.
Estoril completes the European schedule on 15-17 October, with the final round taking place at a new venue for the WorldSBK calendar.
Two weeks after the penultimate round, the season will conclude at the Shanghai International Circuit, for the first-ever Chinese round.
WorldSBK says its debut in China “is the culmination of the Championship’s expansion effort and the strengthening of strong bonds with a fast-growing motorcycle industry” with three manufacturers in QJMotor, ZXmoto and Kove, all debuting in the WorldSSP and WorldSPB classes over recent seasons.
Much like the MotoGP calendar, the Hungarian round will no longer take place, while Jerez will not host a WorldSBK race in 2027 due to ongoing renovations to the circuit.
