With two hours down in the Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain, the #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid leads the race, having taken the lead after a first car collision between Rebellion and Ginetta.
Bruno Senna started the #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson from pole position, but was spun round by the #5 Ginetta G60-LT-P1 – AER of Charlie Robertson when Robertson lost control exiting turn one and tagged the Brazilian.
In the carnage, the #8 Toyota of Sebastien Buemi was forced wide, allowing Conway's #7 car to slip through. He has since handed over to Kamui Kobayashi. He holds a lead of well over 30 seconds to Gustavo Menezes in the Rebellion, which has since made its way back up.
United Autosports continues to lead in LMP2, with Phil Hanson piloting the #22 ORECA 07-Gibson. Several of his rivals lost out in the opening exchanges, including the #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA of Ho Pin Tung, which spun.
Giedo van der Garde had a strong opening stint, moving up to second before pitting to hand over to Frits van Eerd. Kenta Yamashita also moved up in the opening hours, which means High Class Racing held second place behind Hanson, with the car now in the hands of Anders Fjordbach and having dropped down.
James Calado leads GTE Pro after a bold move into turn one by team-mate Alessandro Pier Guidi. The #51 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo dove up the inside of Gianmaria Bruni's #91 Porsche 911 RSR-19, making contact and taking the lead. The lead was then momentarily taken by the #95 Aston Martin Vantage AMR of Nicki Thiim, who is on a different pit stop strategy. The Dane has since pitted, cycling the lead back to Calado's Ferrari.
Ben Keating had held the lead in GTE Am from the start of the race, but has since lost out to the #98 Aston Martin Vantage AMR of Ross Gunn. Keating now sits second in the #57 Team Project 1 Porsche 911 RSR.
And as the clock ticked over 2 hour mark, the order was as follows:

LMP2: 1. P. Hanson (#22 ORECA), 2. W. Stevens (#37 ORECA), 3. P. Ragues (#26 Aurus)
GTE Pro: 1. J. Calado (#91 Porsche), 2. M. Christensen (#92 Porsche), 3. A, Lynn (#97 Aston Martin)
GTE Am: 1. R. Gunn (#98 Aston) 2. B. Keating (#57 Porsche) 3. C. Eastwood (#90 Aston Martin)
