Trackhouse has confirmed the signing of Enea Bastianini on a two-year deal to complete its 2027 MotoGP lineup.

Bastianini will link up with Raul Fernandez, who has already been announced to remain with the satellite Aprilia team, as it looks to build on an impressive 2026 season.

Trackhouse has won four sprints and races, including a double 1-2 in Assen, but has been forced to replace Ai Ogura after the Japanese rider elected to move to the factory Yamaha team ahead of the new rules cycle.

Bastianini has been chosen as his replacement, bringing a wealth of experience and race-winning pedigree to Trackhouse.

Although the Italian rider has only managed one podium finish in his time with Tech3 KTM, he had previously impressed aboard the Ducati since his step up to the premier class in 2021.

Arriving into the championship as the 2020 Moto2 champion, Bastianini impressed with two podiums for the Avintia team before becoming a four-time race winner with Gresini in 2022.

The Italian then stepped up to the factory Ducati team, but after an injury-plagued 2023, he was released from the team after the 2024 season and moved to KTM.

Now heading to Trackhouse, Bastianini will hope to return to race winning form with the Aprilia satellite team.

“I am extremely excited to join the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team for the next two MotoGP Championships,” Bastianini said in a team statement.

“Starting from the test in Valencia this year, it is going to be a real new challenge for me as we are entering a new era with a new bike, new tires and new regulations.

“For this, I am happy to bring my experience and my fighting spirit to Trackhouse so that we can develop the new Aprilia RS-GP together.

“The team has grown a lot during 2026 and it has become a title contender.

“For sure I will do my best for us to stay on top.”

Justin Marks, Owner of Trackhouse Entertainment Group, added: “It’s a very exciting moment for the SuperFile Trackhouse team to welcome someone like Enea to race our Aprilias.

“His racing pedigree, his MotoGP winning history, and his experience at the top of this game all contribute to the perfect scenario for a racing team that we all believe is on the verge of greatness.

“Enea’s infectious personality, eagerness to get started, humility, and positivity are the attributes we always look for in our mission to attract athletes that are the entire package.

“We’re going to have a lot of fun chasing trophies and creating memorable moments over the next few years with Enea, Raul, and all the amazing people and partners at Trackhouse.”
